The great task remaining before us

Reserve Citizen Airmen and civilian personnel from Youngstown Air Reserve Station listen to Col. Don Wren, 910th Mission Support Group commander at YARS, discuss leadership and command tactics used during the Civil War on Oct. 11, 2019, on the battlefields at Gettysburg National Military Park. Wren and Col. Barry Crane, individual mobilization augmentee to the director of logistics for Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, facilitated a three-day leadership staff ride for more than 25 Reserve Citizen Airmen and civilians from the installation. The staff ride was organized by Crane and Wren to follow the events that unfolded over the three-day Battle of Gettysburg that took place in July 1863.
