22nd Air Force: Rally in the Valley
U.S. Air Force Reserve aircrew from the 908th Airlift Wing, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, land a C-130H Hercules on a dirt landing zone during the distributed operations training event near Charleston, West Virginia, Aug. 25, 2020. The training event tested aircrew on their tactical combat airlift skills such as cargo airdrop, formation flights, and personnel delivery in a contested environment. There were a total of eight aircraft from various Reserve and Guard units supporting the training effort, enabling strategic depth and readiness for the force.
