Senior Master Sgt. Bob Barko Jr., 910th Airlift Wing Public Affairs superintendent, gives a public affairs briefing during a virtual Yellow Ribbon event hosted by Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Dec. 19, 2020. This was the first virtual Yellow Ribbon event hosted by an Air Force Reserve unit. The Yellow Ribbon program began in 2008 following a congressional mandate for the Department of Defense to assist reservists and National Guard members in maintaining resiliency as they transition between their military and civilian roles.
