New commander for next-level defenders
Capt. Robert Reader, the commander of the 910th Security Forces Squadron, speaks to his Airmen and leadership, Feb. 4, 2023, at the unit’s change of command ceremony at Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio. During the ceremony, Maj. Nicholas Megyesi transferred command to Reader. The primary purpose of a change of command ceremony is for subordinates to witness an officer formally assume responsibility, authority and accountability for the unit. These ceremonies preserve the tradition of military service and stimulate unit esprit de corps. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Noah J. Tancer)
