IDLC cadre hone combat edge with live grenade certification
Tech. Sgt. Allen Russell, an Integrated Defense Leadership Course cadre member assigned to the 910th Security Forces Squadron, Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, and Senior Master Sgt. Jason Knepper, Air Force Reserve Command Security Forces training manager, walk toward a bunker to detonate live grenades on May 31, 2023, at Camp James A. Garfield Joint Military Training Center, Ohio. In order to teach combat readiness skills to future Defenders attending the course, Russell and fellow IDLC cadre had to be certified on using live grenades. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
