IDLC 23: Guard and Reserve Defenders learn TCCC

Airman 1st Class Karla Renteria, a Defender assigned to the 349th Security Forces Squadron, Travis Air Force Base, California, and Staff Sgt. Arin Brown, a Defender assigned to the 919th SFS, Duke Field, Florida, run during a tactical combat casualty care exercise on Aug. 16, 2023, at Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio. Renteria, Brown and fellow Defenders from Texas Air National Guard’s 204th SFS and the 919th SFS, Duke Field, Florida, traveled to YARS to participate in the Air Force Reserve Command’s two-week Integrated Defense Leadership Course where Defenders hone their tactical combat skills while adapting to mission-related stressors during agile combat employment scenarios.
