  • AMC C-130 rainbow fitting inspections complete

    Thanks to early detection by Air Force Materiel Command aircraft maintenance and engineering professionals and quick implementation of a fleet-wide time compliance technical order, C-130 maintainers have inspected and verified the viability of 108 of the 123 affected aircrafts’ lower center wing joints, or “rainbow fittings,” allowing for their safe return to service.
  • From defender to instructor

    From the moment Tech. Sgt. Brandon Campbell, a former fireteam member with the 910th Security Forces Squadron, arrived at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, for basic military training, he fell in love with the idea of earning the title of Military Training Instructor.   • Orientation flight gives members of YARS a bird’s eye view

    Youngstown Air Reserve Station provided a C-130H Hercules orientation flight for 27 team members of the 910th Airlift Wing and one 911th Airlift Wing member, Aug. 8, 2019. Orientation flights are routinely offered to Reserve Citizen Airmen and civilians who serve at YARS to provide them with a better understanding of the wing’s flying capabilities.
