    Youngstown Air Reserve Station Reserve Citizen Airmen and four aircraft assigned to the 757th Airlift Squadron, returned home on Sept. 18, 2019, from a four-month deployment to Southwest Asia.
  • Orientation flight gives members of YARS a bird’s eye view

    Youngstown Air Reserve Station provided a C-130H Hercules orientation flight for 27 team members of the 910th Airlift Wing and one 911th Airlift Wing member, Aug. 8, 2019. Orientation flights are routinely offered to Reserve Citizen Airmen and civilians who serve at YARS to provide them with a better understanding of the wing’s flying capabilities.

    The first Advanced Additive Manufacturing part to be fitted on a C-130H Hercules aircraft, a utility hydraulic panel, was installed on one of Youngstown Air Reserve Station’s C-130s, Aug. 5, 2019.
  • 2nd Lt. Stringer becomes newest member of 910th AW family

    Donovan Stringer was commissioned as an honorary 2nd Lt. and made Pilot for a Day for his courageous battle against liver cancer. The 910th Airlift Wing began the Pilot for a Day program in 2000 as a community partnership with Akron Children’s Hospital and has since welcomed 66 children with chronic or life-threatening illness as honorees.
