    Youngstown Air Reserve Station Reserve Citizen Airmen and four aircraft assigned to the 757th Airlift Squadron, returned home on Sept. 18, 2019, from a four-month deployment to Southwest Asia.
  • Orientation flight gives members of YARS a bird’s eye view

    Youngstown Air Reserve Station provided a C-130H Hercules orientation flight for 27 team members of the 910th Airlift Wing and one 911th Airlift Wing member, Aug. 8, 2019. Orientation flights are routinely offered to Reserve Citizen Airmen and civilians who serve at YARS to provide them with a better understanding of the wing’s flying capabilities.

  • Humanitarian cargo destined for Honduras

    U.S. Air Force Airmen from Youngstown Air Reserve Station and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst load a C-17 Globemaster III with humanitarian support cargo July 19, 2019, on the flightline at YARS. Reserve Citizen Airmen from YARS loaded the humanitarian support cargo on the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst aircraft which was headed for Honduras in support of a Denton mission.
  • Former Air Force Chief of Staff visits 910th

    Gen. (ret) Norton Schwartz, the 19th Chief of Staff of the Air Force, toured Youngstown Air Reserve Station on April 6, 2019. Schwartz was this year’s guest speaker for the 910th Airlift Wing annual awards banquet.
