Nearly 200 Citizen Airmen along with their families, friends and co-workers attended YARS Night at Eastwood Field here, August 7, 2013. Representatives from the 910th Airlift Wing, based at nearby Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, were involved in game night activities such as throwing out the first pitch, singing the national anthem, between inning games, manning concourse displays and more. The group enjoyed a night of minor league baseball as the Cleveland Indians Class A affiliates, the Mahoning Valley Scrappers took on the Lowell Spinners. The Scrappers fell to the Spinners, 7-0. Military members and Department of Defense Identification card holders are admitted free on Military Nights during every Wednesday home game of the Scrappers 2013 season. The last Military Night game of this season is scheduled for August 21, 2013 when the Scrappers take on the Jamestown Jammers.
