James Dignan, commander of the 910th Airlift Wing based at nearby Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, accepts a certificate from Tom Humphries, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber, at the organization’s board of directors meeting held at the Eastwood Mall here, Nov. 19, 2015. The certificate recognizes the 910th, the fourth largest employer in the Mahoning Valley with 1841 employees, for 25 years of membership with the chamber. The Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber is the third largest chamber of commerce in Ohio and the 910th Airlift Wing is home base to eight C-130H Hercules aircraft tasked to carry out airlift/ airdrop missions in tactical environments as well as the Department of Defense’s only large-area, fixed wing aerial spray capability.
