910 AW unveils humanitarian mission nose art
YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio -- Air Force Reserve Col. Karl McGregor, commander of the 910th Airlift Wing, poses with a group of volunteers from "Mission of Love" during a nose art unveiling ceremony here, April 7. The nose art titled "Global Humanitarian Support" recognizes the humanitarian missions cariied out by the Citizen Airmen and aircraft of the 910th over the last several years. These missions have included aerial spray relief in the aftermatch of several hurricanes, medical services, civil engineer work and airlift support to numerous location around the world. One of the aspects of the wing's airlift mission is supporting the Denton Program, a government program that enables groups such as "Mission of Love" to utilize military airlift to transport donated goods to those in need at overseas locations.
