Air Force Reserve Command's Aerial Spray Squadron from Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio was recognized with the National Center for Infectious Diseases' Partners in Public Health Award at NCID's 2006 Recognition Awards Ceremony held May 1 at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta. From left to right: U.S. Public Health Service Capt. Peter Drotman, Maj. Bill Whittenberger, director of operations for the 757th Airlift Squadron; Col. Timothy Thomson, commander of the 910th Airlift Wing; Maj. Jeff Shaffer, aerial spray squadron operations officer; Ms. Rima Khabbaz, director of the National Center for Infectious Diseases; Col. Daryl Hartman, commander of the 910th operations group; Capt. Karl Haagsma, entomologist; and Lt. Col. John Williams, commander of the 757th Airlift Squadron.
