NEW ORLEANS -- A U.S. Air Force Reserve C-130 Hercules from the 910th Airlift Wing at Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, sprays Dibrom, a pesticide approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, over the city Sept. 13, 2005. The crew primarily sprayed for mosquitoes and filth flies, which are capable of transmitting diseases such as Malaria, West Nile virus, and various types of Encephalitis.
