773rd Airlift Squadron deactivates

Lt. Col. John Boccieri, commander of the 773rd Airlift Squadron, watches while Master Sgt. Jeannette Holland, 773rd Airlift Squadron First Sergeant, and Lt. Col. Don Loomis, 773rd Airlift Squadron Director of Operations, roll up the squadron guidon during a deactivation ceremony for the 773rd Airlift Squadron here, April 6, 2014. The 773rd Airlift Squadron, which was activated as a unit of the 910th Airlift Wing in 1995, was officially deactivated on March 31. The deactivation resulted from Air Force structure changes that reduced the 910th’s C-130 aircraft fleet to eight Primary Assigned Aircraft and on Back-up Inventory Aircraft.
