CAP cadets visit YARS for military experience
YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio--Air Force ReserveTechnical Sgt. Mike Lamantia explains the C-130 Modular Aerial Spay System (MASS) to a group of Civil Air Patrol cadets here, July 31, 2013. The Civil Air Patrol toured the base on Wednesday, visiting the aerial spray shop as well as avionics, propulsion and the Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Center. Lamantia is a 910th Aerial Spray Maintenance Technician here. YARS is home to the Department of Defense’s only large-area fixed-wing aerial spray capability.
