Toys and Trees for Troops
Tech. Sgt. John Bordell, an aircraft metals technician with the 910th Maintenance Squadron, picks out free toys, Dec. 7, 2024, at Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio. Over 30,000 toys were donated to the Airmen of the 910th Airlift Wing by Operation Homefront and distributed by Military and Family Readiness during the wing’s December unit training assembly. According to Operation Homefront’s website, their holiday toy drives are a heartwarming initiative to spread holiday cheer and bring joy to veterans, wounded and active-duty military families by providing toys during the holiday season.
