    After 36 years of service, the Air Force bids farewell to Lt. Col. Bryan Branby on March 22, 2019. Branby had always wanted to join the Air Force. His father was a pilot for the F-100 Super Sabre and this was all Branby wanted to do as a career. “To me that’s like going into the family business,” Branby said.
  • Ohio State Highway Patrol puts 910th's new range through paces

    The Ohio State Highway Patrol used the Combat Arms Training and Maintenance firing range on Youngstown Air Reserve Station for three days of training. This marks the first use of the new $8.5 million facility by a community partner of the 910th Airlift Wing. The firing range opened in August of 2018.
  • Four raise right hand to join 910th family

  • Governor's advisor visits 910th

    Col. (ret) Joseph Zeis, Aerospace and Defense Advisor for Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, visited Youngstown Air Reserve Station to meet with 910th Airlift Wing Commander Col. Joe Janik. Representatives of the 910th's community partners including the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber, the Eastern Ohio Military Affairs Commission and the Youngstown Air Reserve Base-Community Council were also in attendance. The group discussed 910th and YARS missions, priorities and future planning.
  • Base Community Council gets insider view of 910th

    Four members of the Youngstown Air Reserve Base Community Council executive board toured Youngstown Air Reserve Station March 10, 2019. The BCC’s mission is to help enhance public understanding of the 910th AW’s mission and YARS’s presence and impact on the community. The BCC provides a vehicle for action in undertaking projects of significance to YARS’s community inside and outside of the fence.
