Moore is also in charge of YARS's Development and Training Flight as a special duty. The Development and Training Flight prepares enlistees for Basic Military Training via monthly drill where they focus on fitness, customs and courtesies, marching formations and other military skillsets with the aim of increasing the rate of those who make it through BMT.

  • Annual visit boosts morale at children's hospital

    Five members of the 910th Airlift Wing and one Sailor from the Navy Operations Support Center Youngstown visited more than 30 children at the hospital to spread holiday cheer and distribute the toys, which were provided by the Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program.

  • Sarachene hosts final civilian commander's call

    Commander's calls provide a platform for leadership to address key issues, present awards and foster camaraderie. This event was Sarachene's final civilian commander's call at the 910th, as he will be transferring command of the wing to Col. Joe Janik, 910th Airlift Wing vice commander, in February 2019.
