910 loadmaster directs cargo handlers loading YARS C-130 in Tel Aviv
TEL AVIV, Israel -- Air Force Reserve Master Sgt. Bryan Watson, a loadmaster assigned to the 910th Airlift Wing, based at Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, directs the driver of a "K-loader," as the cargo handling vehicle approaches the cargo ramp of a C-130H Hercules tactical cargo transport aircraft, also assigned to YARS, on the tarmac of Ben Gurion International Airport here, October 25, 2009. Segreant Watson and a group of eight other 910th Citizen Airmen have just delivered 29 passengers and their baggage to Tel Aviv on an airlift mission from Naples Naval Air Station, Italy. The 910th Airmen are scheduled to pick up four single pallets and a double pallet of cargo here and deliver them to Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The aircrew members completing this airlift mission are among more than 70 Servicemembers from YARS attached to the 38th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, based at Ramstein. The 38th EAS is supporting Operation Joint Enterprise by providing tactical airlift capability to locations in the U.S. Europe Command (EUROCOM), U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) and U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) theaters of operations.
